Innovations in Oncology
According to official statistics from the WHO in 2024, oncological diseases are now the cause of one in every five deaths worldwide. This has encouraged not just us the Zdenko Kos Foundation but also the international medical community to develop new cancer treatment methods and increase the effectiveness of the already existing ones.
This is particularly important for patients where we are offering treatment with our new medications and treatments where results are second-to-none.

Stomach Cancer
Stomach cancer is a malignant pathology that ranks among the ten most common cancers in the world. More than 1.4 million new cases are diagnosed every year. The disease most often develops in males between 35 to 40 years old. Screening and awareness of potential causes are crucial for improving the prognosis, as gastric cancer diagnosed late often leads to a significantly reduced life expectancy compared to detection at early stages, underscoring the importance of public health initiatives to educate about risk factors and encourage timely medical check-ups.
Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer is also a significant global health concern, ranking as the eighth most common cancer among women. In 2024, there were approximately 489,6244 new cases worldwide, with over 243,720 related deaths. The disease often presents with non-specific symptoms, leading to late-stage diagnoses and a global five-year survival rate ranging between 32% and 44%.
Liver Cancer
Liver cancer is also a significant global health challenge, ranking among the top causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. In 2024 alone, approximately 1,243,910 new cases were diagnosed, and about 1,007,500 deaths were attributed to the disease. The 5-year survival rate for liver cancer patients in Germany is approximately 11% for women and 14% for men. We are working on Liver cancer research to get better survival rates for the patients as the figures above are not encouraging for whichever liver cancer patient whether women or men.
Stem cells for joint pain
Joint pain ranks among the most widespread musculoskeletal conditions in Europe, currently affecting over 60 million adults in Western Europe, which is more than a 55% increase since 2000. Nearly 45% of these individuals are under the age of 65, which dispels the misconception that joint disorders only affect the elderly. In addition, knee osteoarthritis, which is one of the most common sources of joint pain, accounts for approximately 1. 83% of all years lived with disability in Europe. Traditional interventions such as physical therapy, non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory medications, and surgery often alleviate symptoms but rarely address underlying joint degeneration. This gap in treatment efficacy has led to a growing interest in regenerative therapies.
We are offering Stem Cells for joint pain therapy as the only a promising approach, utilizing the body's own regenerative capacity to reduce inflammation, support repair, and potentially regenerate cartilage.
